Ways We Can Help

Support in Sackville, Built Around You

Support Workers and Daily Living

Out on the river at Sackville, a support worker who reliably makes the trip is the support that counts. Ours come to your home for personal care, meals, household tasks and the shape of the day, and the same person comes each visit so the help feels familiar.

Community Access and the River

Sackville's life is on the water and the road to town: the ferry crossing, the reserves along the bank and a run into Windsor for the shops and a coffee. A support worker can turn those into regular outings, and our fortnightly Sunday outings add a day out with others.

Accessible Transport

There is no bus through Sackville, so getting to appointments means a car and someone to drive it. A support worker takes you to Windsor or Richmond and stays if you want company, and our wheelchair-accessible van collects you at home for Sunday outings, billed under your plan.

Sackville & Surrounds

River Flats, a Cable Ferry and a Long Way From the Nearest Shop

Sackville Road near the ferry, Sackville

Out along the Hawkesbury River north of Windsor, Sackville is a rural locality where the road winds between river flats, orchards and bush, and the Sackville Ferry still carries cars over to Sackville North on demand, around the clock and without a toll. There are no shops and no bus, and the nearest of everything is back towards Windsor, which is a fact of life people here plan around. For people living with disability out here, the river is the reward and the distance is the challenge.

This is home ground for us. Our office in Windsor is about twenty-five minutes away, and our support workers make that trip through the week for in-home assistance, personal care and the runs into town that keep appointments and shopping on track. We offer recovery coaching where your NDIS plan includes it, and Lusi on our team runs a fortnightly Sunday outing with pickup from your door. Call us on 02 9037 3716 or request a callback to talk it through.
