Ways We Can Help

Support in Kurrajong, Built Around You

Support Workers and Daily Living

Up the hill in Kurrajong, support that turns up on time is worth a great deal. Our support workers come to your home for personal care, meals, household tasks and the routines of the day, and the same person comes each visit so the help feels familiar from the start.

Community Access and Village Life

Kurrajong's village on Old Bells Line of Road has the bakery, cafes and antique shops, and Richmond and Windsor are a short drive down the escarpment. A support worker can make the village a regular outing, and our fortnightly Sunday outings add a day out with others.

Accessible Transport

The 682 bus runs down to Richmond station about once an hour, which is not much to plan a life around. A support worker drives you to appointments in Richmond or Windsor and stays if you want them to, and our wheelchair-accessible van collects you at home for Sunday outings.

Kurrajong & Surrounds

A Hill Village Looking Out Over the Hawkesbury

Old Bells Line of Road, Kurrajong village

Kurrajong sits on the first rise of the Blue Mountains, eight kilometres up from Richmond, with orchards and small farms on the slopes around it and views back over the Hawkesbury flats. People live here for the cool air and the quiet, and for many of them the trade-off is distance: the hospital, most specialists and the bigger shops are down the hill, and the trip there and back shapes the day. For people living with disability in Kurrajong, that distance is the thing good support has to solve.

Our base is in Windsor, about twenty minutes from Kurrajong, and the Hawkesbury is our home ground. Our support workers come up the hill through the week for in-home assistance, personal care and the trips to Richmond and Windsor that keep appointments on track, and we offer recovery coaching where your NDIS plan includes it. Lusi on our team runs a fortnightly Sunday outing with pickup from home. Call us on 02 9037 3716 or request a callback to talk it through.
